How does Estate Protocol comply with US securities laws?

Created by Comms EP, Modified on Wed, 20 Mar at 8:47 AM by Comms EP

Estate Protocol relies on two exemptions from registering with the SEC under the Securities Act 1933.

First exemption is Reg D 506(c) which allows us to offer real estate tokens to US accredited investors, and the second exemption is Reg S which allows us to offer real estate tokens to non-US investors.

These exemptions preempt “Blue Sky” regulations, and this structure is common in the real world asset space.

We ensure compliance at the token level, which means transactions that are out of compliance would fail to go through.
